Individual & Family Memberships
Open to all residents and families who care about the Magothy River. Annual dues support our conservation programs and keep you connected to river news, events, and volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
Community Association Memberships
Waterfront and neighborhood associations along the Magothy can join as organizational members, lending their collective voice to advocacy efforts and helping represent their community’s interest in a healthy river.

Donate
As an all-volunteer organization your donations go directly to programmatic work and community outreach. Join us in helping protect the Magothy for future generations.
The Magothy River Association is a tax exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the MRA are deductible under section 170 of the Code.

Volunteer
MRA is continually looking for energetic new volunteers for a variety of activities including fundraising, Magothy River Day events, community education and outreach, government affairs, oyster gardening and dive team.
Review our project portfolio and let us know your interests. We can provide training and find projects that align with your schedule. Feel free to join us at our monthly meeting to hear more about our ongoing work.
Help at Home
You can help protect the Magothy from your own backyard. Consider limiting fertilizer application, scooping pet waste, installing a rain garden and minimizing impervious surfaces.
